Devlyn is extremely tall and long bodied, she is one of the largest and tallest does of the herd. Devlyn often gets confused with Sugar by friends and other breeders who knows our herd well. They are very similar in type and style. She has excellent dairy strength; she is a beautiful angular doe with a long lean neck, sharp withers and is upstanding in the front end. She has a great body capacity with great depth of barrel, spring of ribs and width thruought. Her mammary system, overall is very correct, having a great deal of overall area of udder attachment, excellent texture and milks very well. Admitedly, we would like to see better teat placement on Devlyn but we are quite pleased with her overall, and we think she makes up for it in other areas of the scorecard.
She finished her Championship in 2015, as a 2nd freshener 2 year old, scored 89 - which is the highest score for a 2nd freshener and earned 22.98 points on her *M. She now has enough points to qualify for the CGS Select Doe Award.
Devlyn is the only maternal descendant from GCH Anin's BGS All Dressed Up *P (EX/EX 2E) (2002 RAWF GCH/BUOB & 2003 CGS East Nationals GCH/BUOB). Dressy used to be a favourite goat of mine, so Devlyn is near and dear to my heart for that reason. We are also quite excited about the paternal side of her pedigree, her sire being a full brother to the 2013 ADGA National Reserve Champion SGCH Hoanbu Status Misty Moonlight *M LA92 so we have very high expecations for this yound doe.
